Pureology Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner

Hello beauty lovers! I’m finally all moved into my new apartment and I absolutely love it! It took 2 whole days, but it’s all done. Now I get to move onto the fun part of organizing!  I decided to take a break and shower, so I used Pureology’s Hydrate shampoo and conditioner to wash my hair. This is by far my favorite shampoo and conditioner. It leaves your hair feeling softer, smoother and extremely manageable. These products have an amazing scent that smells like you’re leaving the spa. The best part is that the scent lasts all day and night! It makes your hair super shiny, silky and it helps your color last. My hair always feels amazingly clean after using these two hair products. The downside is that it’s a little more pricey than most shampoo and conditioners, but I believe it’s worth the price! I can’t stop smelling my hair after using these products! Xoxo 🙂

Sephora Professional Makeup Brush Set

Hello beauty lovers! It’s been a hectic week for me with finals, projects and getting ready to move this weekend! I can’t wait till I’m all moved into my new apartment. I have been working on beauty projects since 2 pm today and now it’s almost midnight. I’ll take a break and talk about my new Sephora Professional Makeup Brush set! It’s my first professional makeup brush set and I love it. The set has a great variety of  brushes used for every type of make up application. My two favorites are the “shadow” and “smudge” brushes. I love the shadow brush for applying a shadow all over the lid. It applies evenly and works well with almost any shadow. The smudge brush is great for a seductive, smokey eye look, which is one of my favorite eye make up looks! I got this set on sale for $100 on Sephora.com and it’s originally almost $300. I was super ecstatic about this deal! I’m not sure if it’s still up on Sephora’s website, but I’d recommend checking it out. Smashbox Photo Finish Oil-Free Primer

Hello everyone! I just had an extremely long and stressful day, but still ready to blog! The cable guy fixed my Internet, so that’s a plus. I also presented a presentation tonight in my Beauty Marketing and Finance class, I hope it went well! I’m finally home to relax and talk about Smashbox’s Photo Finish Oil-free Primer. Smashbox is known for their amazing array of primers and how awesome they work. I can definitely agree on that because I love their Photo Finish Oil-Free Primer! It makes my foundation glide on flawlessly and stays on for so long! It comes in an easy to open tube and a tiny pea size of product is enough to cover your whole face. This product is super smooth and silky. You’d think because of the product’s texture that it would leave your face oily, but it doesn’t at all! This product is perfect for oily, combination and normal skin. It leaves absolutely no residue. If you’ve been looking for an awesome primer that stays true and pure then go for Smashbox’s primers! Laura Mercier Baked Eye Shadow

Hi beauty lovers! I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday! I’m currently watching “The Other Boleynn Girl”. It’s a pretty good movie! My wireless Internet stopped working yesterday. The cable guy can’t come until Tuesday, so it’s going to be rough not having Internet for the next day. On a different note, I just got my Sephora makeup brush kit in the mail and got my 500 point gift. It was a Laura Mercier makeup kit that came with lip gloss, eye shadow, eye liner, mascara and primer! I’ve never used Laura Mercier before, but after trying the products, I love her! My favorite was the baked eye shadow in “Black Karat”. It has a beautiful gold shimmer and it really stands out. It would be the perfect eyeshadow to wear for a night out to dinner or out dancing. It goes on nicely and blends well with other eyeshadows. I definitely want to try out more Laura Mercier products. I would recommend doing the same! Xoxo 🙂

Too Faced Smokey Eye Palette

Hi beauty lovers! I’m getting ready to go out with my friends tonight and I used Too Faced Smokey Eye Palette to do my eye makeup. I used “Firefly” for the inner corner of my eye, then “Cloves” for the middle of my lid. Then, I blended “Up in Smoke” on the outer corner of my eye up towards my brow. Next, I put “White Lie” under the brow and blended. I used Tigi’s black eyeliner and smeared “Smokin’ Hot” under my eyes for a smokey eye look. This Eye Palette is perfect for that sexy, night time look. Now I’m ready for a night out on the town! Avon’s Skin So Soft Moisture Serum

Hi everyone! I just had an extremely busy day. I went to the gym and took a cycle and body pump class. Then, I had to work on my beauty marketing and finance project all day and night until now! I still haven’t finished it and I’m exhausted. I just got out of the bath and applied Avon’s Skin So Soft Moisture Serum right after I dried off. It is a luxurious oil serum that’s infused with mineral crystals. This beauty product is non greasy and leaves your skin feeling super soft with a slight sparkle! You can use it daily to add that extra sparkle and soft touch to your skin. I use it every day and it never lets me down! 🙂 xoxo

Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Powder

Hi everyone! I’m having a lazy, relaxing Sunday. I checked out a couple apartments with my boyfriend today since my lease is up in a month! I found an awesome one bedroom in LA. Super excited about that! Now onto another beauty product referral! 😉 I have really oily skin and I have been searching for a product to control the oil build up for so long! I finally found this amazing Microfinish powder by Make Up For Ever. It leaves your skin oil/shine free and super soft looking. It goes on translucent and you can’t even tell you’re wearing anything on your face. I love how beautiful my skin looks after I apply this. I usually use it as a finishing powder after applying my foundation, which is also by Make Up For Ever. I love Make Up For Ever for their foundation and powders! Urban Decay Glide On Eye Pencil

Hello loves! What a beautiful day in LA it is! I’m on my way to hang out with my boyfriend. We’re going to go putt putting and go karting. We’re such kids! Haha. As I was getting ready this morning, I used Urban Decay’s Glide On Eye Pencil in “Bourbon”. It glides on super nice and smooth. The color has a light shimmer, which really draws you in. It looks beautiful with brown eyes! I have always been a huge fan of Urban Decay and the brand never disappoints! Xoxo 🙂

What one beauty product would you bring if you were stuck on a deserted island for 8 months?!

Hi beauty lovers! On twitter, my class and I had a #studentbeautychat and asked each other beauty related questions. One question I found interesting was “what one beauty product would you bring if you were stuck on a deserted island for 8 months?”. The most popular responses were lip balm, sunscreen and mascara. I found the mascara answer sort of funny because you’re on a deserted island and no one can see you, but I guess you want to look and feel glamorous anyways! Sunscreen was the best answer since you’d be stuck in the sun for so long! No one enjoys being sunburnt! Lip balm is also a good choice so you don’t get chapped lips! I’d recommend having SPF in the lip balm you bring though! 😉 What one beauty product would YOU bring if you were stuck on a deserted island for 8 months? I said it’s a toss up between lotion and lip balm because I can’t live without either of them! Xoxo

MAC Studio Fix powder/foundation

Hi loves! Today has been a successful, busy day! I started off the day by taking a cycling and body pump class at my gym then worked on some homework. Now, I just got finished getting ready for a girlfriend’s birthday dinner. As I was getting ready, I thought I’d recommend another beauty product for you guys! On Monday, my intro to beauty class and I went on a field trip to a MAC PRO store. I ended up purchasing MAC’s Studio Fix powder plus foundation in NC42. I absolutely love this product! It gives my skin a smooth and matte finish. It is a full coverage powder/foundation, so don’t apply TOO much or it will look too cakey. I also purchased MAC’s powder brush: 138. It is a super soft brush and applies any powder beautifully. I hope everyone is having a fabulous day! 🙂 xoxo
